Steba Food dehydrator

The electronic dehydrator ED 6 with its 6 large stainless steel drying surfaces, each measuring 37 x 30 cm, is perfect for dehydrating large quantities. The temperature (35 - 90°C) and time (1 - 24 hours) can be easily adjusted using the electronic control. A herb mat for dehydrating herbs is also included.

Dehydrating is one of the oldest preservation methods and has been used for centuries to keep food for a long time through sunlight. Today, we can use this preservation method all year round, regardless of the weather. Moreover, in addition to simple preservation, new possibilities for usage are being highlighted, opening a new field of application in your kitchen. Vitamins, important minerals, dietary fibres, and iron are practically preserved, and flavours are concentrated.

Instead of non-dehydrated foods, dehydrated fruits can be used in dishes to enhance them. Soaked in hot water, dehydrated herbs or apple peels provide the perfect base for a delicious tea.
