Thebe has a classic and timeless shape that makes the cutlery as beautiful and contemporary today as it was when created in 1944. Thebe was the first collection of modern stainless steel cutlery from Gense and is inspired by the sumptuous Egyptian style with its strict and elegant lines.
Thebe in 2024 is tailored for our time. The cutlery is longer and more in harmony with the present - the length of individual cutlery pieces has been increased by about 10%, and the material is made from 91% recycled stainless steel.

DESIGNED TO MAKE YOU PROUD
Design: Folke Arström (1907-1997) began his career in 1930 in Stockholm as an artist and industrial designer. He was one of the most prominent designers in Sweden during the 1940s and 1950s. A position that made him an important member of the first generation of proud Scandinavian designers. Folke Arström was also the artistic director of Gense in the early 1940s.
