The outdoor picnic table Tablo from WOOOD features a clean-looking metal table leg and a top made from a fast-growing African softwood called Thermo Ayous. The Ayous used for this set is FSC certified wood, sourced from well-managed forests. Ayous wood has an open cellular structure, allowing it to be thermally treated through steaming or heating without chemicals. The wood is heated to 215° Celsius. Thanks to this "cooking" process, Thermo Ayous is more resistant to moisture, exceptionally stable, and requires no maintenance for years (durability class I). After treatment, Thermo Ayous has a beautiful modern and warm appearance and will gradually turn grey due to weather influences (just like tropical hardwood). To maintain the natural colour of Ayous wood furniture, we recommend treating the wood with Exotan Teak Sealer. If the wood has already aged, it’s important to clean the furniture with Exotan Teak Cleaner and then apply Exotan Teak Sealer.

The leg has an X shape and is made from a tubular steel frame of 80 mm x 80 mm, coated in matte black powder. The distance between the legs is 162 cm. The width of the seating area is 26.6 cm.
