Les Loups-Garous de Thiercelieux is an atmospheric game of bluffing, almost a mini-role-playing game in which two camps clash. The villagers on one side and the werewolves on the other. The story is chaperoned by a game master who narrates. For some time now, the peaceful life of the villagers of Thiercelieux has been troubled by incessant werewolf attacks. The villagers must react before they all die... At the start of the game, each player receives a role card. However, this must not be revealed to autres participants. The objectives of each camp are antagonistic. The werewolves must eat the villagers, while the villagers must kill the werewolves to defend themselves. At the start of each round, the host announces that it's getting dark. All players close their eyes, and can only open them when called upon, or when dawn arrives. The leader then calls on the various characters one by one to use their powers or perform their actions. The werewolves can devour villagers, the little girl can spy on them, the witch brews magic potions and the fortune-teller can even reveal a player's true identity. When all the players have acted, the leader announces that it's daybreak. The various events of the night are then resolved. The werewolves may have devoured some villagers, the hunter may have killed one of them or even an innocent, the thief may have hatched some scheme, and Cupid may have chosen targets for his arrows... Following the announcement of these events, the villagers vote to eliminate one of their number, whom they believe to be a werewolf.
