Plastoy Vinyl Eyeshield 21 - Original Soundtrack (x2)

The story of Eyeshield 21 follows the protagonist Sena, the target of bullying by his peers, who wants to earn their respect by joining a club at the start of the school year. He crosses paths with Hiruma, the head of the American football club, who recruits him for his exceptional running skills. They must quickly find 11 other players, as the inter-high school championship starts in 24 hours.

Many artists and composers have contributed to creating the opening and accompanying songs, notably Kosuke Morimoto, who worked on various themes for Fullmetal Alchemist and One Piece. Any fan of the series will feel a strong sense of nostalgia remembering the music that marked their adolescence. The very Pop-rock and J-pop tones will remind them of those afternoons after school spent watching episodes of this epic anime on Game One. The voices of the Japanese cast can also be heard, particularly the voice of the main character, Sena Kobayakawa, on many of the opening themes and accompanying tracks.

The manga celebrated its 21st anniversary in 2023. To mark this occasion, the author wrote a one-shot of 55 pages called “Brain X Brave,” which appeared in early January 2024 in Weekly Shonen Jump.

The anime has been frequently aired on Game One since September 2009 and on France Ô since September 2012.

The release date of the vinyl corresponds to the beginning of the NFL season.
