My Writing Desk « MWD » is designed for work and creativity. For those who know the value of efficient work. In developing the idea of the desk « MWD », its designer Inesa Malafej had a clear goal – to reduce the clutter and chaos that often fills the workspace. The result is a true modern writing desk, featuring cleverly designed storage space all around the desktop where items are always within reach. The 'gutter' surrounding the table expands the working surface which, once filled, creates a micro space, a halo that is personal and familiar to you. Two deep drawers allow you to store your laptop as well as other assorted items. The slits in the gutter are functional elements for cable management and fit perfectly into the balanced and innovative design of this desk. The table legs can be detached for easier transport. There is also a version of this desk with a single drawer for smaller spaces. « MWD » was developed by Inesa Malafej as part of her final project at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vilnius.
